WIDE-BAND AMPLIFIER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-band amplifier that can amplify signal levels without deteriorating characteristics of signals, and to provide a method of manufacturing the amphfier. SOLUTION: The wide-band amplifier 100 is constituted by flip-chip mounting a field effect transistor 3 on a circuit pattern constituted of the strip conductors 2 of microstrip lines 50 so as to decide the characteristic impedance that decides an estimated band. The gain and group delay characteristic of the amphfier 100 constituted by flip-chip mounting the transistor 3 on the circuit pattern constituted of the strip conductors 2 in a band are adjusted by adjusting the characteristic impedance of the amplifier 100 by trimming the strip conductors 2.
