PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical energy converter which includes N transformer each having a primary winding and a secondary winding (SN), a primary circuit connected to two input terminals on which the primary windings of the transformers are connected, and a secondary circuit connected to two output terminal to which the secondary windings of the transformers are connected. SOLUTION: Each primary and secondary circuit of this converter includes a set of switching means, connected to N primary windings and N secondary windings (SN). The converter includes means for controlling the switching means of at least one of the primary or secondary circuits, and the switching means are connected, so that it is possible to associate the N primary or secondary windings (SN) in series and/or in parallel with, by using the control means.
