PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge capable of preventing erroneous or unintentional opening/closing of a shutter member. SOLUTION: In the disk cartridge 10, when a disk medium 20 housed inside is not used, the first shutter member 110 is locked at the closing position by a locking mans 130. The locking state generated by this locking means 130 is unlocked by pressing of the pressing part 138A of a lock lever 132 by the pressing part 186 of the drive device that enters an operation hole provided on a front wall 72. This part 138A is arranged inside the disk cartridge 10 so as to be prevented from unintentional or erroneous operation from outside.
