PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain code data of demodulated not-binary information. SOLUTION: A logarithmic likelihood ratio arithmetic circuit 11 calculates the logarithmic likelihood ratio L(a'i ) of inputted channel data a'i before demodulation, assuming a communication channel to be a white gauss communication channel. An arithmetic operation circuit 13 applies calculation to parallel data converted by shifting logarithmic likelihood ratio L(a'i ) in a p-stage shift register 12 by using a symbol correspondence rule of data before and after demodulation, and obtains the parallel data of the logarithmic likelihood ratio of m-bit code data after demodulation. A m-stage shift register 14 loads the parallel data after demodulation in parallel, shifts them, and outputs the logarithmic likelihood ratio L(c'i ) of the code data after demodulation. Thus, the code data after demodulation can be obtained with the logarithmic likelihood of a real numerical value, and the code data whose not-binary information is restored can be supplied to a post-stage turbo-decoder.
