PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new label for a car body which hardly deteriorates even when the label is exposed to outdoor UV rays, which is excellent in the durability against the collision of dust or pebbles on a road because of the high surface hardness, and which hardly causes the deposition of dust because no electrostatic charge is produced on the label surface, to provide a label for a car body which is environmentally friendly without producing a toxic component or allowing the component to flow when the label is discarded or incinerated, and to provide a label for a car body which can rapidly response to the demand for the advertisement renewed in a short period and which can be provided at a low cost even for the order of a rather small lot. SOLUTION: The label displays the information on company names, advertisement or the like and is used by sticking to the outer surface of a car body 2. The label 1 for a car body has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10, a polyolefin layer 20 formed on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 10, a printing layer 30 formed by on-demand printing on the polyolefin layer 20, and a transparent ceramic layer 40 formed on the printing layer 30. The transparent ceramic layer 40 preferably contains an adsorbent for UV rays.
