The invention relates to a transparent heat-absorbing layer system comprisin g a first layer (A) and a second layer (B). The invention is characterized in that the first layer (A) contains at least one organic infrared absorber and at least one UV absorber and the second layer (B) contains at least one UV absorber, while the first layer (A) is the only layer of the layer system th at contains an organic infrared absorber. The invention further relates to the production of said layer system, to the use thereof and to the products produced therefrom.
