<p>Haloprenes by dehydrohalogenation of 1,2 dihalobutene 3.. G5-. Pref. of 1,2-dichlorobutene-3 to 2-chlorobutadiene-1,3, proceeds quickly and quantitatively without polymer by product formation by contacting the 1,2-dihalobutene-3 with an aqs. alkali solution in the presence of an anionic surface active agent. The temp. of the aqs. alkali solution is kept at least at the b.p. of the halogenated butadiene, pref. at 60-150 degrees C. Pref. anionic surface active agent is used in amount of 0.05-15 weight % (0.09-10 weight%) calc. on total aqs. solution, and consists of soaps of fatty acids, resin acids, tall oil or naphthenic acid; C8-22 aliphatic sulphonates, aryl sulphonates, alkylaryl sulphonates, water-soluble phosphates of C8-18 aliphatic alcohols, P-containing cpds. of formula R5(P3O10)2M'5 (where R is 2-ethylhexyl or octyl-2 and M' is Na, K or Li) or their mixtures.</p> |
