Use of dihydroxyacetone in hair dye compositions based on oxidation dye precursors

Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is used in hair dye compositions based on oxidation dye precursors. An Independent claim is also included for a method for dyeing human hair, comprising applying an oxidation dye mixture comprising at least one developer, at least one oxidizing agent and DHA to the hair and then rinsing and drying the hair.
