<p>A method and apparatus for transmitting data over graphic display that includes, a receiver (150) for receiving data either from a scan or non-scan screen. Receiver (150) receives optical information from transmission window (55) and decodes the transmitted information. A photo sensor (151) is preferably placed within a line-of-sight of the screen (54) and collects the emissions of light from screen (54).
