A method for carrying out lawful interception in telecommunication-and data-networks in whose address-and communication-parameters the setting up and upholding of an internal and/or external communication is undertaken, with address conversion devices taking over address conversion and distribution for the address data to internal network communication subscribers and/or external communication subscribers and/or devices. The actual address-and communication -parameters generated in the address conversion devices (AN) are stored with the addition of further assignment/allocation parameters as data records.
