An interactive display system includes an electronic camera which intermittently records a participant's image and digitally inputs the video image into a computer. The computer further receives a text string (figure 6, element 100) having a fall rate (figure 6, element 120) value. For each digital image (figure 6, element 230) received by the camera, a software program determines the destination of each line of text (figure 6, element 150) according to its fall rate (figure 6, element 120).
