The valve needle exerts pressure on the readjusting spring in a closed position and is operatively connected with an actuator, for operating a valve-closure body (4). The valve closure body, together with the valve seating surface (6) formed on the valve seating body (5) forms a sealing seating. An injection hole disc (36) is downstream from the valve seating body and has a cap-shaped curve in the direction of the fuel's flow. The disc is positioned in a recess (34) in a nozzle body (2) of the fuel injection valve, and is fixed by a weld seam (35)on the nozzle body of the fuel injection valve and contains several injection holes (37).
