A portable pipe cutter apparatus 10 includes a housing12 having a base and a lid16 that is moveable between a storage postion and an operative position. A motor20 is retained within the housing and a cutting wheel is rotated thereby. An adjustable pipe conveyor is also retained within the housing, adjacent the cutting wheel26. The pipe conveyor40 may be operated to urge a pipe into engagement with the cutting wheel. Notably, when the lid is in the operative position, a work area70 is provided for cutting a pipe or similar work piece. When the lid is in the storage position, a carrying case is provided. |
