The mower, comprising a chassis (1) with a cutter (5) and a swathing mechanism with lengthwise (17) and transverse (18) conveyors, has the lengthwise conveyor made with at least one and preferably three identical rollers (221, 231) with their lengthwise axes lying perpendicular to the mower's direction of travel and rotated to carry the cut crop to the rear. The rollers are positioned one after another in the same plane, inclined downwards at the front to pick up the crop as it is cut, and each roller is in two halves, situated on either side of the mower's median vertical plane. One of them is driven by a motor and the others by a transmission system. |
