PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a water jet pump facilitating the mounting on a planing boat. SOLUTION: This mounting structure of the water jet pump of the planing boat is required a front/rear directional position adjustment relative to a fixed member side. The front end part of a pump casing is taperedly formed with its diameter becoming narrower toward the front end, a groove is formed in the front end so as to circulate the circumference of the casing, and a projecting contraction part circulating the outer circumferential face is formed. A seal member formed with a lip circulating the internal circumferential face and projecting inward in the rear end is disposed so that the lip entered in the groove, and a tapered recess part, which smashes, at least, the contraction part of the seal member, smashes the lip in the groove, and is mated with the front end of the pump casing disposed with the seal member in the front end is formed in the fixed member side so as to seal a part between the fixing member side and the pump casing.
