PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film taking-up member in which either a slack or a wrinkle is hardly produced in a product of film showing a moisture absorption characteristic even if it is stored for a long period of time or it receives an external shock. SOLUTION: A product film roll 10 having a film 1 made of moisture absorbing resin as its raw material wound on a core member 11 is packaged by a packaging material 13 including either an aluminum foil containing iron substance in a range exceeding 0.7 wt.% by a converted value of iron atom (Fe) and 1.7 wt.% or less, or a film having the aluminum vapor deposited thereon. The packaging film 13 has a low moisture permeability and its characteristic is not deteriorated even if an external shock is applied to it, so that it is possible to prevent moisture from being absorbed at the product film.
