The insole (1) consists of a support (2) with apertures (5) covered by a draining and aerating material (8) such as a three-dimensional woven fabric, fastened to the support by high-frequency welding. The support is made from a foam-type shock absorbing material, and the covering material can be a three-dimensional woven fabric that is thicker where it covers the apertures than where it covers the support, or an open-cell foam over-moulded onto the support.
