PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent from causing drift/fluctuation in a rotational speed signal integrated by a single integrated algorithm used for determined the angular position of a vehicle, due to an offset error. SOLUTION: According to this method for measuring the angular position of a vehicle with respect to at least one axis of rotation, the rotational speed of the vehicle around the axis of rotation is detected by using at least one rotational speed sensor, the angular position thereof is found by integrating the detected rotational speed, an offset error of the sensor is taken into account, lateral acceleration, namely the acceleration of the vehicle in the lateral direction relative to the axis of rotations is detected, in addition to the rotational speed, and the found angular position is inspected whether it can correspond to the actual angular position of the vehicle by using the dependence of the actual angular position of the vehicle on the lateral acceleration. |
