CHAR TREATMENT APPARATUS FOR COAL GASIFICATION OVEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply char to a gasification oven without using an expensive heat-resistant material in a char supply pipeline system and without lowering the thermal efficiency of the pipeline system. SOLUTION: Unburned char scattering from a gasification oven is collected at a high temperature with a cyclone 6; the collected high-temperature unburned char is cooled with a primary cooler 7 to 400 deg.C or lower to recover heat. The cooled unburned char is separated into recycle char and recovery char. The recycle char is blown together with an oxidizing agent into the gasification oven. The recover char is cooled with a secondary cooler 12 to recover heat. The recovery char after the heat recovery is discharged out of the system.
