<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly change the capacity of a compressor to the maximum capacity in starting a compressor. SOLUTION: A cylinder block 1 is provided with a by-pass passage 13 communicating an intake port 31 with a crank chamber 20, and a bi-metal valve 16 is fitted to the end of the passage. Immediately after the compressor starts, when the temperature in the crank chamber 20 is low, the bi-metal valve 16 is opened, so that a liquid refrigerant in the crank chamber 20 is sucked in the intake port 31 through the passage 13. With a temperature rise in the crank chamber 20, the bi-metal valve 16 is closed so that the compressor is controlled to the capacity corresponding to the operation of a control valve 6.</p> |
