PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for an immunoassay using a particle which an antigen or an antibody is bonded, capable of obtaining an analysis result which is good in reproducibility without affected by carry-over. SOLUTION: The device for an immunoassay includes a plurality of reagent containers for housing a plurality of kinds of liquid reagents in which the particle with a bonded antigen or antibody is suspended, a agitator for agitating the liquid reagent, a probe for sampling the liquid reagent, a reaction container for mixing the liquid reagent and a sample and reacting, and a measuring instrument for measuring a reaction in the reaction container, and is characterized by that a mechanism for determining whether the liquid reagent in the reagent container is agitated prior to the sampling to the reaction container on the basis of information relating to a previously determined agitation interval time, and information on the carry-over between the plurality of kinds of the liquid reagents. |
