PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate, highly rigid and compact fluid cylinder device with a rotation stopping mechanism, and usable in a special environment. SOLUTION: This fluid cylinder device has a cylindrical body, a nut member fixed to the inner diameter side of the body, a shaft member movably engaged only in the shaft direction with the nut member, a rod part installed on one side of the shaft member, and extending by further projecting from one end of the body, a rod cover installed on the opposite side of the rod part installing side of the body, a piston chamber formed on the opposite side inside of the rod cover and the rod part installing side of the body, a piston slidingly arranged in the piston chamber, and a piston rod fixed to the piston, and extending outward by penetrating through the rod cover, and is constituted so that the piston rod is fixed to the body, and the shaft member reciprocates in the shaft direction to the body via the nut member by supply discharge operation of a fluid to the piston chamber.
