PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for a gear shift operation device for a vehicle capable of dispensing with a rib for reinforcement to reduce manufacturing cost and manufacturing man-hours of a mold for the bracket and miniaturizing the whole bracket. SOLUTION: This bracket 3 for the gear shift operation device for the vehicle holding a shift lever 2 turnably is constituted such that a support part 9 supporting an operation wire 6 connecting a transmission and the shift lever 2 loaded on the vehicle mutually is integrally formed while overhanging, and a side face 9a of the support part 9 is formed by a curved face.
