METHOD FOR LAYING BRICKS OF FURNACE WALL MANHOLE OF HEATING FURNACE, SOAKING FURNACE OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for eliminating a contact of protruding bricks with a steel material during conveying in a furnace by preventing protrusion of the brick of a manhole to the inside of the furnace in a heating operation of the furnace after a repairing work is finished by executing a repair in the furnace such as a heating furnace, a soaking furnace or the like by opening the manhole of the sidewall of the furnace and again laying the bricks in the manhole after the repair in the furnace. SOLUTION: A method for laying the bricks of the furnace wall manhole of the heating furnace 1 such as the soaking furnace or the like comprises the steps of charging a ceramic wool 4 in a boundary between the bricks 5 of the furnace sidewall and the bricks 5 of the manhole 3 in the case of repairing the bricks 5 from the furnace wall manhole of the furnace 1, the soaking furnace or the like, and laying the bricks to absorb the thermal expansion margin of the bricks. Thus, the pushing-out of the bricks 5 of the manhole 3 to the inside of the furnace is prevented.
