PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a cationic electrodeposition coating exhibiting excellence in low-temperature curability, a finishing property and stability in forming a coating film for an automobile body. SOLUTION: The cationic electrodeposition coating comprises an amino group-containing epoxy resin (I) as a substrate resin, obtained by adding an amino group-containing compound to an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 400-3,000, and a curing agent (II) as a crosslinking component, where the curing agent (II) comprises a curing agent (II) having a number-average molecular weight of 1,000-4,000, obtained by reacting a vinyl copolymer resin (A) bearing at least three hydroxy groups in one molecule on average, obtained by copolymerizing a hydroxy group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a) and other ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) by a catalytic chain transfer polymerization method, with a partially blocked polyisocyanate (B) obtained by blocking a part of all isocyanate groups with a blocking agent.
