PURPOSE: A shared interface device for serial and USB(Universal Serial Bus) ports of a mobile communication terminal is provided to support a USB communication as well as an RS232C serial communication in case of performing a data communication using the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(2) has a UART(Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) port for providing a serial data communication interface with a PC, a USB transmitting and receiving port for providing a USB interface with the PC, and a GPIO(General Purpose I/O) port for outputting a GPIO signal for selecting serial data output from the UART port or USB data output from the USB transmitting and receiving port. A multiplexer(100) selects the serial data output from the UART port or the USB data output from the USB transmitting and receiving port according to the GPIO signal of the GPIO port. A reception connector(3) interfaces the serial data or the USB data output from the multiplexer(100).
