<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient compressor capable of changing a delivery of the compressor in an extremely wide range according to load and showing low performance deterioration. SOLUTION: A compression mechanism part having a piston 10 and a cylinder 31 is provided with a variable displacement mechanism capable of adjusting its delivery by a mechanical mechanism (for example, a stroke change of a piston). An electric motor part driving the compression mechanism part is so constituted as to control its rotation speed via an inverter and a frequency converter such as a pole change. The delivery of compressor is adjusted by controlling the both of the variable displacement mechanism and the frequency converter.</p> |
