PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an imaging device utilizing an optical sensor array to judge the parameter or compensation value suitable for the sensor array by electronically identifying the sensor array. SOLUTION: The optical sensor array includes at least one information light sensor (106, 108, 110, 112, 302, and 304) and encodes permanent information based on the magnitude of a signal from the sensor indicating the possibility of light being made incident to the sensor without interruption, when the light is projected upon an information light sensor assembly by interrupting at least partially the incidence of the light to the sensor.
