PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress scattering of shock absorbing characteristic caused by using a natural wood and sufficiently buffer against a cask with using a minimum necessary size. SOLUTION: A buffer for cask 118 is constituted of a buffer 119a consisting of balsa stuff having grain in the axis direction of a cask body 100, a buffer 119b consisting of laminated wood stuff of red wood having grain in the axis direction of a cask body 100 and a buffer 119c consisting of laminated wood stuff of red wood having grain in the direction perpendicular to the axis of a cask body 100.
