RUST STABILIZATION DEGREE EVALUATION METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of accurately evaluating a degree of stabilization of a rust layer having a protective function to an atmospheric corrosion environment. SOLUTION: In the rust stabilization degree evaluation method, a chemical composition and quantity of an amorphous portion included in rust of the rust layer formed on a surface of weathering steel are determined and the stabilization degree of the rust layer is evaluated from the acquired chemical composition and quantity of the amorphous portion.
