PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the fixing works of the fixing of a cap covering the top section of a hollow cylindrical body and the fixing of gate-post side hook and eye and a back board inserted into a gate post. SOLUTION: In a hook-and-eye fixing structure for bearing the door of a gate in which the gate post 1 is held by the back board 3 inserted into the internal space 2 of the gate post 1 composed of the hollow cylindrical body and the gate-post side hook and eye 4 installed on the surface of the gate post 1 while the top section of the gate post is covered with the cap 5, the hook- and-eye fixing structure for bearing the door of the gate in which the back board 3 is hung down integrally to the rear of the cap 5, the top section of the gate post 1 is covered with the cap 5 so that the back board 3 is brought into contact approximately with the interior wall of the gate post and the back board 3 and the gate-post side hook and eye 4 are fixed mutually so as to hold the gate post 1 by the gate-post side hook and eye 4 formed in the hook-and-eye fixing structure for bearing the mounted gate post and the back board 3 at a place corresponding to the back board 3 on the surface of the gate post 1 while the cap 5 is fixed simultaneously at the top section of the gate post 1 is provided.
