PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional tractor frame that the position of a footplate mounted on the frame is high and disadvantageous for the miniaturization of a tractor. SOLUTION: This tractor frame comprises a lateral pair of longitudinally extending sheet-like front frame members 1a having an engine mount part 2 and a front axle case suspension part 24, and a lateral pair of longitudinally extending sheet-like rear frame members 1b having a transmission 12 for receiving the power from the engine to drive a drive wheel mounted on the rear and foot boards on lateral sides. The front upper edge of the rear frame member 1b is connected to the rear lower edge of the front frame member 1a, and connecting plates 43L and 43R are mounted on the inner surfaces of the vertically overlapping positions of the front frame member 1a and rear frame member 1b so as to extend over both the frame members 1a and 1b, and cross bars 25 for mutually connecting both the connecting plates are mounted on the inner surfaces of the connecting plates 34L and 43R.
