Destructible core particularly useful for manufacturing tyres

Method used in making any object, e.g. a tyre, comprises forming a cavity of set shape and volume, introducing fresh material forming a membrane (2), disposed on the moulding surface of the first mould section (5) which includes an opening. The cavity is completed by a support (1) closing it. The membrane contacts the entire periphery of the opening, defining a closed volume to contain a core within. The volume is filled to overflowing, with a solid capable of fluidisation (6). Also claimed is the equipment to make an object, and a rim used for the making of toroidal objects.
