PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip having a basic bottom part 3 attached to an outer peripheral end face 2a of a door frame by a clip or a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape, a hollow seal part 5 coming into pressure contact with a peripheral fringe 4 of a door opening of a vehicle body when closing a door, and auxiliary seal parts 8a, 8b provided in the basic bottom part 3 and coming into elastic contact with the outer peripheral end face 2a of the door frame, consisting of a general part 1a molded by extrusion and a mold molded part 1b molded integrally with the general part 1a and attached to a corner part of the door frame, being attached around the door of an automobile, and capable of preventing water leakage from the auxiliary seal parts 8a, 8b. SOLUTION: After setting an end part of the general part 1a of the weather strip 1 to a mold (not shown) in such a way that the auxiliary seal part 8a made of a high foaming sponge material is restricted like a lip toward an end face, the mold molded part 1b is connected with the general part 1a, and a lip part 12 is connected with the auxiliary seal part 8a to mold the weather strip integrally. |
