<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having high coloring power and achieving rapid good electrification in any environment. SOLUTION: The toner has at least toner particles containing at least a bonding resin and carbon black and an inorganic fine powder, the weight average molecular weight of the toner is 4 to 11μm, and in the particle size distribution of the toner, the toner contains <3.5 vol.% particles of >=12.7μm particle diameter and <=25 number% particles of <=4μm particle diameter. (1) The toner contains 10 to 200 ppm alkali metal element, (2) the toner contains a sulfur-containing polymer and (3) the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) of toner measured at 50 kHz frequency is <=0.0125 and the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) of the toner measured at 100 kHz frequency is <=0.0105.</p> |
