PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a full reliability even when a wiring pattern is formed of a wiring material having electromigration resistant properties reinforced by applying a printer head, a printer and a method for manufacturing a printer head particularly to a printer by a thermal head. SOLUTION: A protecting layer 22 for protecting a heating element 20 from etching at a time of forming the wiring pattern is formed to an ink liquid chamber side face of the heating element 20.
