摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the concentration of an object to be analyzed existing in a sample which has various kinds of background matrixes and may also have substantial component interference can be determined, and to provide a spectrophotometer. SOLUTION: The method includes a step (1) of identifying several different nonmultiple wavelength regions having high correlations with the concentration of the object to be analyzed in a near infrared region, a step (2) of irradiating the sample with incident light containing these regions and obtaining spectrally attenuated radiant light through the interaction between the components of the sample and incident light, and a step (3) of detecting the spectrally attenuated radiant light. The method also includes a step (4) of measuring the intensity of the spectrally attenuated radiant light at a wavelength in the nonmultiple wavelength region, and a step (5) of obtaining a value suggesting the concentration of the object to be analyzed by correlating the measured results with each other.
