METHOD FOR PRODUCING FOAMED MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a foamed molding having a good appearance in which a silver streak and a weld mark are not conspicuous from a crystalline polymer composition. SOLUTION: The foamed molding is produced through a process (1) in which the heat-melted expandable crystalline polymer composition is injected/packed in a mold cavity with a peripheral surface temperature in a mold set in a range from 'the crystallization temperature of a crystalline polymer minus 20 deg.C' to 'the crystallization temperature of the crystalline polymer plus 20 deg.C', a foaming process (2) in which the composition is foamed, and a process (3) in which the peripheral surface temperature in the mold is changed to 50 deg.C or below to cool the foam. The method is suitable for the production of a foamed polypropylene molding.
