PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an aromatic-aliphatic copolycarbonate having high transparence and good due by means of a transesterification method. SOLUTION: The aromatic-aliphatic copolycarbonate is manufactured by meet polymerizing an aromatic carbonate, at least one dihydroxy compound having an alicylic structure and at least one aromatic dihydroxy compound in the presence of an alkali metal catalyst and/or an alkaline earth metal catalyst wherein BPZ to be used as a raw material has a control of all organic impurities of not more than 100 ppm and a content of all metal impurities of not more than 1 ppm.
