PLATE FIN TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat exchanging efficiency from lowering due to shifted flow in a plate fin type heat exchanger employing such an arrangement as the fluid passing area in a head tank is significantly narrower as compared with an ordinary heat exchanger because of reduction in size, or a shifted flow is generated easily due to various factors, e.g. the introducing and delivering directions of fluid are specified. SOLUTION: Since baffle plates 10 and 11 are disposed in the vicinity of rear side farthest from the fluid inlet of a header tank 5 and in the header tank 5 on the farther rear side than the central part in the longitudinal direction, inflow of fluid to the rear side farthest from the fluid inlet can be reduced. Since high temperature fluid passes through a larger number of fluid channels on the inlet side of the header tank, shifted flow can be improved.
