PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide biodegradable stretchable knitted fabric that has excellent fitting performance that it can softly fit to the body and excellent stretching performance that it can attain the stretchability enough to meet the body movement in sport as the problem on the waste disposal is reduced. SOLUTION: The objective biodegradable stretchable knitted fabric is made of jersey texture which is formed by feeding S-twisted crimp yarns of aliphatic polyester fiber and Z-twisted crimp yarns alternately every one to several courses.
