PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release agent for a photo-setting type resin coating formed on a vinyl flooring material, which is capable of easily releasing in a short time. SOLUTION: The release agent for the photo-setting type resin coating comprises compounding a lower alcohol of >5 wt.% to <90 wt.%, an inorganic alkali of >0.5 wt.% to <5 wt.%, and an amine of >0.5 wt.% to <20 wt.%. Further, the release agent comprises compounding besides these, benzyl alcohol of >5 wt.% to <50 wt.%.
