PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of the durability of an orifice plate and a water repellent layer because of the excess application of a light energy and a heat energy by limiting the excess application of the light energy and the heat energy to the orifice plate and the water repellent layer to a minimum when the water repellent layer is formed to the orifice plate and the orifice plate is jointed to a head body. SOLUTION: While the orifice plate 11 is pressed by a face 21 which positions the orifice plate 11 having a fluorine-based epoxy resin 14 applied for forming the water repellent layer, and the head body 7 where an epoxy-based adhesive 16 of a type set by ultraviolet rays as a jointing resin is applied to a joint face 9, and which is provided with a flatness accuracy of a quartz glass 20 as a light energy transmission substance, ultraviolet rays 26 are applied to set the water repellent resin 14 and the jointing resin 16 at the same time. An excess reaction of the water repellent resin 14 is thus prevented and the durability deterioration of the water repellent layer and the orifice plate 11 is prevented.
