PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining efficiency and simply constitute a device itself by allowing a wire electric discharge machine to simultaneously machine a plurality of machined parts of workpieces. SOLUTION: In this wire electric discharge machine, a plurality of machined parts of the workpieces 2A, 2B are positioned and set between a pair of upper head parts 5A, 5B mounted to a Z-axis movable body 34, and a pair of lower head parts 6A, 6B mounted to a lower arm 31, and one wire electrode 1 delivered from a wire electrode supply system 9 is inserted through start holes 3 or machining slits 4 of a plurality of machined parts of the workpieces 2A, 2B respectively to simultaneously machine a plurality of machined parts. A plurality of machined parts are machined parts in a region predetermined at a plurality of parts of one workpiece 2A or 2B, or machined parts in the respective regions predetermined at one part of each of a plurality of workpieces 2A, 2B.
