PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition which is excellent in delivery stability, printing quality, fixability and compatibility with paper. SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition comprises at least a colorant, water, an acetylene alcohol compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 , R2 , and R3 are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkylphenyl group which may have a branch), and a 1,2-alkyldiol compound represented by the formula (2): HO-CH2 -CH(OH)-R (wherein R is a 1-10C alkyl group). |
