PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap wherein the breakage or the deformation of a slit forming die tool at the time of molding is effectively suppressed for the hinge cap for which a slit being divided into an internal wall and an external wall is formed on the cylindrical side wall of a cap body. SOLUTION: The cap main body comprises a top plate section and the cylindrical side wall which extends downward from the peripheral edge of the top plate section. Then, this hinge cap is connected by a hinge to the upper end section of the cylindrical side wall of the cap main body. The section of the cylindrical side wall wherein a hinge connected section is formed is divided into the internal wall and the external wall by the arcuate slit. Then, the internal wall and the external wall are connected at the lower section. In such a hinge cap, at the central section in the peripheral direction of the connected section between the internal wall and the external wall, a section having a larger width in the vertical direction compared with the both end sections in the peripheral direction is formed. |
