<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive torque sensor capable of being provided in no contact to a shaft. SOLUTION: This torque sensor comprises the shaft 1 to which a torsional torque is applied, first and second rings 2 and 3 concentrically mounted on the shaft 1 and changed in relatively rotating position according to the twisting of the shaft 1, a magnetic circuit constituting part 10 fixed to the respective end surfaces 2c and 3c of the first and second rings 2 and 3 axially opposite to each other, a Hall element (magnetic flux density detecting means) 5 for detecting the magnetic flux between the opposed magnetic poles of the magnetic circuit constituting part 10, and a magnetic field changing means for changing the magnetic field of the magnetic circuit constituting part 10 according to the change in relatively rotating position of the first and second rings 2 and 3.</p> |
