PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the thermal insulation wall of the ice storage chamber in an ice maker in which resin odor peculiar to an ABS resin plate is not transferred to ice stored in the ice storage chamber, disinfectant or detergent causes no deterioration, e.g. dissolution of the ABS resin plate, and a general inexpensive ABS resin plate which is not CFC resistant does not react on CFC to cause dissolution or cracking. SOLUTION: The thermal insulation wall of the ice storage chamber is formed by providing a thermal insulation layer of foamed resin between the steel plate of outer wall and the ABS resin plate of inner wall. A DLC film is formed on at least one side of the ABS resin plate.
