PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor device capable of assuring the safety of passengers without requiring a troublesome execution management. SOLUTION: A first handrail 15a is installed in a generally horizontal plane of projection on the outside of a passage 10 side main frame 9a, and a second handrail 15b is installed on the outside of the generally horizontal plane of projection formed with a preset safe dimension 17 from the outer surface of a second moving handrail 3b assured between the moving handrail 3b and a peripheral fixed object, i.e., a building wall 6, namely extendedly installed toward the building wall 6. When the passenger conveyor device 1 is installed, an interval between the hand of a passenger riding on the passenger conveyor grasping the second moving handrail 3b and the building wall 6 can be sufficiently assured if the conveyor device is installed so that the second handrail 15b can be stored, whereby a safety and a working efficiency of the execution can be increased.
