<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bottle whose heat distortion on a bottom can be effectively suppressed even if it is filled with a liquid at a higher temperature than conventional without providing a complicated form on the bottom. SOLUTION: A dent 3 protruding inwardly in the bottle and having a step is formed on the bottom 2 of the plastic bottle 1, while radially extending hollow ribs 4 are formed around a center dent 3a of the dent 3 to protrude outward on the plastic bottle 1. The hollow rib 4 comprises a tip wall 5a connected with a peripheral surface 3b of the center dent 3a to stand, both sidewall 5b extending from both ends of the tip wall 5a toward a periphery of the dent 3, and a lower wall 5c connected with both sidewalls 5b and the tip wall 5a. The lower wall 5c is formed to extend approximately linearly to the periphery of the dent 3, so that a region of a half or more of a part interposed between the sidewalls 5b of the adjacent hollow ribs 4 of the dent 3 is on a plane parallel to the lower wall 5c.</p> |
